10. High speed movement function
When a program that includes arc welding is played back, the robot will move very slowly in the welding range. That is why it will take long hours to run a test operation to check the working position of the robot. In order to resolve the problem, a function that will make the robot move in the welding range faster than the speed set by teaching is provided.
When needed to run a test operation to check the working position of the robot, the robot move at the highest speed of manual mode, not at the teaching speed, when users press a specific key and carry out the forward/back step operation.
The high speed moving function is restricted to the forward/back step operations in manual mode.
When the high speed moving function is executed in the welding range, the robot moving speed will not be restricted by 『Step FWD/BWD maximum speed』 of the condition setting. In addition, the function can be set and unset in the welding range regardless of the applied state of the high speed moving function (Ex. The execution of the high speed moving function can be unset while the function is executed in the welding range).
