n Mouse cursor display

Even though you can execute all the operations using the key pad and touch screen, you can connect the mouse to the USB terminal at the bottom of the teach pendant. At this time, check this option so that the cursor of the mouse can be displayed.

n Sound volume

This adjusts the volume of the sound effect generated through the speakers of the teach pendant. It is an option only used in the TP511 teach pendant and it is not displayed in TP520.

n Screen-off

If there is no input by the user within the present time, the screen will change to the saving mode, turning off the screen of the teach pendant.

n Touch screen On

When you turn off this option, the touch screen operation function does not operate. If you want to prevent an erroneous and unintended operation of the touch screen, you can turn this option off.

n Whether to use the jog key or not

Choose the jog key to use among J7-/J7+ and J8-/J8+, respectively. When you are concerned about the positioner collision caused by mishandling the jog key, turn off this option.

n T/P automatic restarting

The teach pendant will be restarted automatically after a designated date in order to clean the memory (there is no impact on the robot operation). When it is time for a restart, a countdown will be displayed on the screen. Even when a restart is pending, it will be postponed for a short while if the user is working on the keypad.

(2)   After an option is set, press the[F7]: Complete key. The setting information will be saved in the teach pendant and not in the main board.
