10.4.5.4. Variable group, filter and find

If the “As” line is designated as Group, the relevant item will be the group name, not the variable. As the group name will be displayed in a different color in the variable dialog box, it can be used to sort variables by type.

At the top of the variable dialog, the variable type filter buttons are available. When a filter button is pressed, variables of the relevant variable type will be displayed on the dialog box. In order to display all variables, press the [All] button.

It is possible to use the find function to search the variable name that contains specific strings. Press the [F6: Find] key and enter the string for the search by using the soft keyboard. Then, press [F7: Complete] key to enter the find mode.

Press the Shift+Up/Down keys, and then the cursor will move to the position of the previous or next name that contains the string (compared regardless of uppercases and lower cases.)
