2.12. Tool data automatic calibration

This is a method that determines new tool data during modification. Changes occur to the tool because of various factors after deciding on the axis origin and tool length using the auto calibration function. However, it is possible under the premise that the axis origin has to be determined and maintained.  To use this function, you need to keep teaching a fixed reference point after determining the tool length and completing the angle correction. When a tool deformation occurs, locate in the same tool posture in the reference point that was specified before deformation. Then, run the auto correction of the tool data.

Following figure is displayed if accessing the [F1]: Auto compmenu in the [F2]: System3: Robot parameter1: Tool datasetting screen. Moves to the changed tool end to the position by using the [Axis operation] key. Set [F7]: Completeafter confirming the program number, step number and tool number to be set, all of which are associated with the previously determined standard point.
