1.2. About the key signal output function
1.2. About the key signal output function
Key signal output is a function for turning ON/OFF the output signal using the signal keys ([SHIFT]+[F1]–[F7]) of the teach pendant.
It can be used to frequently control connected devices, including tools and jigs, using the output signal while teaching the robot. For example, you can jog-move the gripper to a subject; suck it up using [SHIFT]+[F1]; move it to a position; and put it down using [SHIFT]+[F1] while teaching the handling robot.
The manual output function can be used for this control, but the key signal output function provides a visible and convenient operation environment for frequently used small number of output signals. It can also be used for the auto mode with different settings.
