2.1.1. When using a GigE digital camera​

 

A USB dongle key of Cognex is needed when using a GigE digital camera. It is required to inform the supplier about the serial number of the dongle key of Cognex to be used for the HRVision 3D-MultiCam.

The license key that fits the serial number provided by the customer will be notified to the user.

 

Execute HRVision 3-D MultiCam by double-clicking the icon for HRVision 3D-MultiCam on the background screen.

 

If a similar error window shown below is displayed, it is possibly because the dongle key is not inserted in the PC or a wrong dongle key is used. Conduct a recheck.

 

 

If the digital camera is connected normally, the following input window will be displayed. The user enters the license key received from the supplier and click OK.

 

 

When the license key is correct, the program will be executed normally. If inputted incorrectly or if the serial number of the dongle key installed in the PC is different from the serial number of the dongle key informed to the supplier, the following warning window will be displayed.

 

 

Once entered license key is saved.

But when you uninstall “HRVision 3D-MultiCam” program from the PC, reinstall the operating system or format the hard drive, the entered key code information will disappear and you need to re-enter during the reinstallation. Therefore keep the license key in a safe location.
